You get to participate in different market research studies and get paid for them! Our regulars also get invited to premium Studies that pay more for longer engagements. But this isn’t all! At a deeper level, you join a community of like-minded individuals who want to share meaningful experiences so businesses can be more inclusive, more ethical, and more empathetic in their approach. Some of the conversations Pals are already having are around topics like four-year degree programs, hygiene in restaurants, fitness games in VR, and wellness phone apps.

The Poocho Network is a community of consumers (“Pals”) who are inspired to tell their side of the story to brands and organizations that want to listen. Membership into the Network gives Pals access to paid market research Studies. You will be invited to a Study based on your profile information. Pals who participate in Studies share their daily experiences, interests and honest opinions of brands and organizations… irrespective of whether they support them or not! In return, Pals get paid for their participation. In short, the Poocho Network is a source of truth for brands that dare to go deeper with consumer insights.

You can choose which questions you are comfortable answering. You can pause or end the interview at any time without giving a reason.

Yes. When you get an invitation to a study, it is the first step in the process. In order to qualify, you will have to complete a set of “screener” questions to block your seat and confirm your eligibility for the study. Screeners usually have between 1-3 questions. You will receive a notification from us if you’ve qualified. Set up your interview slot and you’re good to go!

You have to be a registered Pal in order to participate in Studies. Once you are registered, you will be invited to a Study through Email or WhatsApp notifications. Invitations are sent based on profile information (different market studies require different people “profiles,” eg. female working professionals between 18 - 25 years old) but also a Pal’s past history within the Network (completion rate, quality of responses etc.)

A Study comprises an interview, with or without a “digital diary.” Interviews last between 45 - 60 minutes; they are video-recorded and usually conducted on Zoom. Digital diaries last from 1 day to many days where we ask you to log your behaviors and thoughts in order to more deeply understand daily life habits. Before a Study starts, you will get the opportunity to determine your privacy/anonymity preferences and schedule a time that works best for you.

Your payment amount depends on a few criteria. When you register on the Network, you will receive an onboarding call where a Poocho representative will explain the payment process.

Before we pay you, we will confirm the phone number/email addresses associated with your preferred payment method. Please make sure you share the correct details! We are not responsible for payments made to incorrect accounts shared by you.

Payments happen within 3-5 business days of completing a Study. We need this time in order to review your submissions before payment.

You do not get paid for completing screener questions. You only get paid if you qualify for and complete the actual Study.

Payments happen via PayTm, Google Pay or Amazon gift vouchers. We do not do cash payments or bank transfers.

No. Client information is not shared before, during or after the call.

Transcripts and other types of Study data are uploaded to our platform for clients to access. Our platform is not a public forum but a subscription portal. Clients have strict legal restrictions against reproducing, distributing or transmitting your data in any form or by any means without prior written permission of Poocho.

We amplify the impact of consumer experiences by creating a database of shared knowledge. Your data is transcribed and shared to our platform so our clients can enjoy the benefit of holistic insights at a faster pace. We have a rigorous transcribing and anonymizing process so that data does not include personal information like your contact details, name and age.

Each interview or digital diary you participate in is recorded, transcribed and shared on the Poocho Insights platform 2 weeks later. The audio recording is not posted but may be used for internal training purposes or to correct transcription errors. Each transcript and data point is scrubbed for personally identifiable information.

Depending on the type of Study you participate in, we will record your experience in the form of texts, videos, audios, photographs and choice-based responses.
